Jakarta, BarisanBerita.com,- Sekolah SMP Negeri 85 Jakarta Selatan mempunyai 21 kegiatan ekstra kurikuler. Sekolah yang memiliki daya tampung siswa 860 orang, juga mewajibkan para siswa mengikuti kegiatan tambahan tersebut
Demikian disampaikan oleh Kepala Sekolah SMP Negeri 85 Jakarta Selatan, Rusli, Selasa, (17/10/2023).
“Iya sekolah ini memiliki 21 bidang ekstra kurikuler diantaranya, bola basket, futsal, bulu tangkis, serta seni bela diri seperti karate dan taekwondo,” kata Rusli.
Rusli menambahkan, SMPN 85 juga pernah meraih juara nasional ke-2 bidang ilmu pengetahuan sain, yang digelar di sekolah Kanisius.
Rusli mengatakan, dengan menerapkan visi sekolah tiada hari tanpa prestasi, akan membentuk siswa supaya tidak membuang banyak waktu dan terus belajar supaya menjadi manusia berkualitas.
“Dengan visi tersebut, siswa akan lebih meluangkan waktunya untuk belajar, sehinggga menjadi manusia yang berkualitas dan berguna,” tutup Rusli.
